Currently, there are many sizes on the market for mooncake box printing. Each type of box for 2 cakes, 4 cakes, and 6 cakes has its own designs

Some common printing styles for mooncake boxes
The box holds 4 cakes using trays 8.5 – 9 – 10. Cakes weighing 125g-180g fit comfortably with sturdy paper dividers. For 200g cakes using tray 10, remove the divider and 4 pieces of 200g cakes will fit nicely side by side in the box.
For small mooncakes weighing 50g – 75g, simply remove the paper divider to fit 9 pieces of cakes in a 6.5cm tray perfectly inside the box.
For regular hard boxes, plastic trays are not used; instead, Ivory paper boxes sized approximately 95 x 95 x 50 mm are used to hold the cakes. In some cases, customers combine cakes with tea boxes or cakes with bottles of wine.
Ivory paper with a thickness of 250g/m2 – 350 g/m2 is the most commonly used paper for printing mooncake boxes. This type of paper has high thickness and rigidity, making it very suitable for high-end cake boxes. In addition, many customers also use small boxes to hold individual pieces. When opened, the cake boxes reveal small boxes that provide a very luxurious and elegant feel. For these small cake boxes, Couche paper with a thickness of 150 g/m2 can be used.
With mooncake box printing, offset printing technology is the most modern printing technology today, helping customers save costs when printing in large quantities while also reducing costs when the number of colors is low. This means the printing price for 1 color < 2 colors < 3 colors < 4 colors
When placing an order, you also need to pay attention to the ink coverage on the paper background (also known as background coverage). For boxes with low ink coverage of less than 50% compared to the paper background, you do not need to calculate the background coverage
